Second lesson in my series to help teach students how to use the basics of Adobe Illustrator (based on 2023 version) The focus of the lesson is to help students to learn how to use the basic shape tools as well as create their own If you use the complete set of lessons this will help to re-practice the skills - needed for student success. Lesson includes Microsoft PowerPoint presentation (including embedded videos); video files; starter activity; plenary questions (based on Bloom’s Taxonomy); student tasks with Microsoft Word task sheet which acts as a tick sheet and direction to help video. Suitable for Creative iMedia R094 as students could use Adobe Illustrator alongside Photoshop to design a logo. Please note: lesson created using 2023 version. Whilst almost all tools will be the same, there may be a few that are not present in earlier versions.

If you use the complete set of lessons this will help to re-practice the skills - needed for student success. Lesson includes Microsoft PowerPoint presentation (including embedded videos); video files; starter task, interactive self-marking one; plenary questions (based on Bloom’s Taxonomy); student tasks with files if required, teacher answer files and Microsoft Word task sheet which acts as a tick sheet and direction to help video. The aim of the resource is for students to learn how to comment upon a visual identity using the logo to help them. Then they could use these ideas when designing their own visual identity in the NEA As well as the PDF version which can be filled in with a PDF reader, an editable presentation is included so you can add other logos e.g. school one or blank ones for the students to do themselves.

A lesson to help reinforce the planning documentation required in R094, emphasising the level of detail needed. The aim is to help provide more structure for lower ability students or those with SEN but could be useful for all students.
